| Spike was
one of those dogs that only come along once in a lifetime. From the day
he was born, I knew he was special and the bond between us had to be
seen to be believed. I swear he had been here before in human form ! The
decision to give him release from his pain at 11½ years was the hardest
I have ever had to make. |

months, winning his
Junior Warrant; following in the
footsteps of his half brother
" Ringo", who
was the first solid
black to gain this award. |

Spike at 18 months, having
won
2 C.C.S from Junior Dog classes |
| |
|
 |
Spike at 2 years
and 1 week, having just won his 3rd CC and champion title at the
Northern Counties Club Show. He was the 3rd and, to date, the
last, solid black in the U.K. to do this. He went on to win 2 more
CCs and 8 reserve CCs before being retired from competition. | |
